S8UL secures top EMEA PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS squad before Esports World Cup 2026

Originating from the CIS region within EMEA, the roster includes captain Roman Zinovev (ADOUZ1E), Andrey Ionov (Bestoloch), Mansur Tsimpaev (f1lfirst), and Nikita Odobesku (Molodoct), with Yermek Torebekov (Ermaak) as coach. They now join S8UL as the organization broadens its participation across multiple titles for EWC 2026.

This team boasts a distinguished record at the pinnacle of competitive PUBG. Previously representing the prominent organization BetBoom Esports, their accomplishments include triumphing at the PUBG Continental Series 7 Europe in 2022, earning $60,000 (~INR 56 lakh), and achieving a notable victory at PUBG Global Series 8 in 2025, where they secured $100,000 (~INR 93 lakh). Furthermore, they placed in the Top 3 at PUBG Global Series 2 in 2023, collecting $162,000 (~INR 1.51 crore), and attained a Top 7 position at the PUBG Global Championship 2022, contributing $134,445 (~INR 1.25 crore) to their total winnings.

With participation in both the 2024 and 2025 editions of the EWC, the roster contributes significant global stage experience. Cumulatively, the team has accumulated around $713,000 (~INR 6.6 crore) in prize money, solidifying its standing as a premier international squad.

The organization has already declared its involvement in 13 titles for EWC 2026, including Apex Legends, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Call of Duty: Warzone, Chess, EA Sports FC, FATAL Fury, Fortnite, Honor of Kings, MOBA Legends 5V5, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8, and Trackmania. The PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS tournament at EWC 2026 is slated for July 21-26 in Riyadh, featuring 24 elite global teams vying for a total prize pool of $2 million (roughly INR 18.6 crore). S8UL’s recently signed roster will now navigate the qualification process to earn a place in the event.
