R. Franco Digital releases high-stakes survival-themed slot title Squad Royale

(AsiaGameHub) -   Franco Digital, a Spanish iGaming developer, has launched its newest title, Squad Royale, a 6×5 medium volatility slot that blends cascading reels with a survival-oriented gameplay concept. The game is set in a competitive arena and offers a dynamic grid-based experience where wins activate cascading reels and strategic bonus features that advance players toward the top prize. A standout feature of Squad Royale is its evolving Wild symbol, which includes a counter mechanism. Unlike traditional Wilds, these do not vanish after a win; instead, they stay on the grid and reduce by one with each cascade, enabling longer sequences and more valuable combinations. The slot also includes four themed bonus rounds based on classic elimination games: Red Light, Green Light, Musical Chairs, The Skipping Rope, and Don’t Let It Fall. Each round incorporates progressive elimination mechanics, with final payouts determined by which characters survive. Javier Sacristán Franco, International Business Director at R. Franco Digital, stated: “Squad Royale merges the suspense of survival gameplay with the rapid pace of cascading slots. The addition of interactive mini-games enhances depth and variety, delivering a more immersive and tactical experience. Thanks to its innovative mechanics and competitive design, Squad Royale strengthens R. Franco Digital’s lineup of content-rich slot titles.” This article is provided by a third-party. Predictor by Slotegrator, a prediction market engine for iGaming brands, now available for pre-order

(AsiaGameHub) -   Predictor by Slotegrator is a prediction market engine designed for iGaming operators, enabling them to introduce the rapidly growing trend of event betting to their platforms. Currently available for pre-order to select clients of Slotegrator, Predictor functions as a genuine prediction market, utilizing a peer-to-peer (P2P) model that updates odds after each bet placement. This approach leverages the popularity of the vertical while safeguarding operators' profit margins. Predictor by Slotegrator, developed by the leading iGaming software and business solutions provider, is now available for pre-order. By integrating Predictor, operators will allow their users to purchase binary contracts on real-world events via a P2P exchange mechanism. Odds are automatically adjusted in real time, and operators earn a fixed commission on every bet, ensuring risk-free revenue generation. "Predictor represents a natural evolution of our product philosophy. At Slotegrator, we believe technology doesn't merely follow trends—it drives them," stated Olga Ivanchik, COO. "The prediction market model remains in its early stages within the iGaming sector, and we are among the first to package this mechanism for casino and sportsbook operators in a scalable, production-ready format. It marks a significant step toward more adaptive and diverse offerings from operators." Prediction markets represent a major global trend. According to Bloomberg's February report, Kalshi was processing over $2 billion in bets weekly, with Polymarket following closely behind. Users can place wagers on virtually any topic—from sporting events and political outcomes to cryptocurrency prices and celebrity announcements. Sportsbook operators who have experienced customer attrition due to competitors like Polymarket now have an ideal solution through Predictor. Moreover, unlike traditional sportsbooks that assume betting risks, the P2P exchange model ensures operators earn consistent commissions. The system is also remarkably fast and flexible, with new bets going live within just 30 seconds. Predictor is equally valuable for online casino operators seeking to boost player retention by offering betting alternatives beyond conventional casino games. New entrants looking to capitalize on the global prediction market boom will also find substantial benefits in this solution. The platform operates using an AMM/LMSR protocol, establishing it as a true prediction market. As increasing numbers of participants choose between "yes" or "no" outcomes, the odds dynamically adjust—similar to established platforms such as Polymarket or Kalshi—and distinctly different from fixed-odds betting models. Prediction markets enjoy widespread appeal not only due to their extensive range of betting options but also because of their real-time data aggregation capabilities. Remarkably, the favored outcome on platforms like Polymarket or Kalshi often proves accurate, embodying what's known as the "wisdom of the crowd"—a phenomenon that significantly contributes to these markets' attraction. "With Predictor, we're moving beyond conventional betting approaches to a system where users actively shape market dynamics. We're providing operators with a new method to deliver dynamic, event-driven experiences through a single iframe, completely free of risk," explained Product Owner Maksym Shtun. "Operators can also craft entirely unique betting experiences tailored specifically to their platforms—the possibilities are truly limitless." Slotegrator will demonstrate the solution at this year's iGB L!VE event, scheduled for July 1-2. ABOUT THE COMPANY Since its establishment in 2012, Slotegrator has emerged as one of the iGaming industry's premier software and business solution providers for online casinos and sportsbooks. The company primarily focuses on software development and support for online casino platforms, along with integrating game content and payment systems. Working exclusively with licensed game developers, Slotegrator offers an extensive portfolio of casino content including slots, live casino games, poker, virtual sports, table games, lotteries, casual games, and comprehensive data feeds for betting activities. Rise in Counterfeit DMCA Complaints Targets Kansspelautoriteit

(AsiaGameHub) -   Over the last six weeks, approximately 60 DMCA notices have been filed against the Kansspelautoriteit, claiming it plagiarized content from different websites and requesting the removal of Kansspelwijzer pages from Google’s search results. The DMCA was intended to offer publishers protection from content theft by requiring major platforms like Google and Facebook review and act on infringement reports; nonetheless, the statute has faced increasingly heavy criticism because it is frequently misused. Misuse of the DMCA is not a new issue. The Responsible Affiliates Seal of Approval previously sent a formal letter calling on Google to address fraudulent DMCA claims directed at legitimate affiliates in the Netherlands. Gambling specialist Frank Kruit remarked: This is a fraudulent claim, part of a wave of thousands submitted daily against authorized casino affiliates in the Netherlands. These often originate from the same sources: illegal operators or affiliates aiming to sabotage the legal market. An unidentified entity files a DMCA notice with Google on behalf of a ‘client.’ Such requests can be made without any vetting. In some cases, deindexing occurs, causing the page to vanish from search results and resulting in immediate harm. The notice, reportedly sent by a person in Malawi, targets seven gambling websites in various regions, including the Kansspelwijzer—a resource the Kansspelautoriteit uses to catalog licensed Dutch operators. The filing asserts: “Atlaslive, the owner of the copyrighted material on [domain name], hereby informs you that several pages on your platform are using protected content from our site without authorization… We demand that you promptly delete all infringing material… Failure to comply… could result in additional legal action.” Since March 27, 2026, there have been 59 (and counting) DMCA notices recorded in the Lumen database against the Kansspelautoriteit. Many of these reports were submitted under various names or locations. Some claimants alleged they were associated with firms like SBTech and Delasport. Both companies are sportsbook technology providers; however, it is highly improbable that they are involved in the DMCA notices filed against the Kansspelautoriteit. Concurrent with the DMCA notices it has received, the Kansspelautoriteit has submitted over 60 “government complaints” to Google, requesting the removal of unauthorized gambling websites from search results. Several of these “government complaints” from the Kansspelautoriteit involve enforcement measures against unlicensed brands such as BetSpino, as part of the regulator's mandate to uphold Dutch gambling laws. Hub88 Incorporates My Products Feature into HubConnect Operator Zone

(AsiaGameHub) -   Hub88 has introduced My Products—a new feature within its HubConnect Operator Zone—designed to assist casino operators in configuring and activating their content portfolios. The company stated that My Products provides a centralized dashboard where operators can access their product catalog, track activation status, adjust preferences, and bulk-enable games without exiting HubConnect. According to Hub88, partners can select one or multiple products to launch, choose RTP and exposure settings, assign titles to specific brands or environments, and submit a single request. The company added that these requests are automatically routed to technical teams with all necessary details. Hub88 noted that the interface includes advanced filtering across brands and markets, supports bulk activation, and highlights contracted but inactive content to help operators identify gaps in their portfolios. Ollie Castleman, Managing Director at Hub88, said: “As operators scale and build more robust lobbies, managing games can quickly turn into a complex and inefficient task. “My Products gives our partners a faster, more intuitive way to take control of their content—from discovery to activation—all within a single, streamlined experience. We are committed to delivering the most convenient and seamless platform for our partners, and this is just one of several upgrades we have planned for the year ahead.” This article is provided by a third-party. Belgium intensifies its crackdown on illegal gambling, blocking 49 websites

(AsiaGameHub) -   Belgium has rolled out a new legal framework aimed at blocking illegal gambling websites more efficiently—targeting not only the sites themselves but also the full infrastructure that supports them. The FPS Economy has developed a system that relies on numerous intermediary parties—including internet service providers (ISPs), technology vendors, and domain providers—to make it far harder for illegal operators to keep functioning within Belgium. Belgium already has an existing blacklist of illegal gambling sites, but the new system is designed to extend enforcement across six additional layers. Internet service providers will now be required to block access to illegal gambling sites. Content delivery networks like Cloudflare must stop providing services to these illegal sites. Search engines such as Google are obligated to remove links to illegal gambling sites. Platforms like Meta will need to cease advertising on illegal gambling sites. Domain registrars will be required to suspend and/or revoke domains linked to illegal gambling sites. Other DNS providers will also be targeted for enforcement to prevent users from bypassing the restrictions. The system imposes significant penalties on intermediaries that fail to comply. Intermediaries will face fines of up to €500,000 per instance of non-compliance with the required enforcement measures. According to the official announcement, intermediaries who do not adhere to the framework’s measures will be subject to a one-time penalty of €500,000 for each non-compliance incident. Paul Laurant from the Belgian Anti Online Piracy & Illegal Gambling Office notes that the aggressive launch of this framework’s enforcement has already resulted in the blocking of 49 websites. Golden Whale and Cevro Team Up on AI Tooling for Automated Player Interactions

(AsiaGameHub) -   Golden Whale has partnered with Cevro to incorporate machine learning-powered decision intelligence into an AI platform designed to automate player interactions across iGaming support and operational processes. The companies announced that this integration will link Golden Whale’s Full Model Control framework with Cevro’s AI agents. The companies explained that Golden Whale’s framework continuously analyzes live player behavioral data to guide decisions related to engagement and incentives, including insights tied to player value, churn likelihood, and behavioral intent. These decisions are then implemented through Cevro’s AI agents via multiple channels such as chat, email, and helpdesk, with voice capabilities expected to follow in the future. Cevro noted that its platform manages player-facing activities including bonus inquiries, KYC verifications, payment-related communications, and responsible gaming workflows. The companies emphasized that embedding decision intelligence into these interaction points aims to enable more proactive, context-sensitive engagement based on real-time player signals. Eberhard Dürrschmid, CEO at Golden Whale, stated: “Operators are now handling a growing volume of player communications across various touchpoints, many of which are still managed reactively or manually. By integrating with Cevro’s AI agents, we can directly connect our decision intelligence into these communication workflows, allowing operators to respond with greater precision and consistency while also simplifying the management of these interactions at scale.” Chaim Heber, CEO at Cevro, commented: “Our goal is to assist operators in automating and scaling player interactions without compromising quality or control. By combining Golden Whale’s decision intelligence, we can enhance the precision of our AI agents by leveraging deeper insights into player value, churn risk, and behavior to shape responses. This not only boosts resolution efficiency but also enables operators to deliver more impactful interactions that support player retention and long-term value.” This article is provided by a third-party. Google revises gambling advertising rules ahead of Alberta’s iGaming rollout

(AsiaGameHub) -   Starting May 4, 2026, Google has updated its advertising policy to permit gambling promotions in Alberta, but only for operators licensed by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission. This update occurs just months before the province’s regulated online gambling market is set to go live on July 13. Initially, advertising will be limited to brand awareness campaigns, with tighter restrictions on promotional activity until further regulatory expansion. All ads must be geo-targeted exclusively to Alberta, and operators seeking early certification must provide proof that they have applied for a licence. The new gambling regulations apply only to lotteries, sports betting, online casinos and fantasy games, where the province has approved the games; otherwise, all regulations will also apply to those gaming activities when conducted by authorized agencies in Alberta. In addition to prohibiting advertising by lottery agencies (federally and provinceally appointed agencies), only authorized entities in the province that have received an AGLC license (or equivalent) may advertise online gambling services. The launch of online maximum betting in Alberta will put an end to Play Alberta’s monopoly on the online gambling industry in that province. The launch of the regulated online gambling industry will take place on July 13 of this year and will create a more balanced and regulated online gambling industry than has previously existed in Alberta. Alberta will be the second Canadian province to launch regulated online gambling and create a new licensing framework for private operators to enter into, following Ontario’s regulated online gambling market. By providing Canadians access to a regulated environment for online gaming, Alberta hopes to redirect the billions of dollars currently spent on online gaming to the province’s economy. In addition to player protection measures, all operators in the Alberta online gambling marketplace will be required to obtain accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council of Canada (RG Check) before operating online. As part of the accreditation process, all operators are required to meet strict requirements related to deposit limits, self-exclusion, cooling-off periods, employee training, and advertising practices, including prohibiting the targeting of minors and vulnerable persons. Pragmatic Play introduces Mr Null’s Wicked Wares

(AsiaGameHub) -   Pragmatic Play has unveiled its latest slot offering, Mr Null’s Wicked Wares, as announced in a recent press release. The game features a 3-4-4-4-3 reel layout and includes mystery symbols on reels 2 through 4, which transform into randomly selected paying symbols and come with multipliers ranging from 2x to 10x, according to Pragmatic Play. The company noted that when two or more mystery symbols are part of the same winning combination, their multiplier values are added together. Pragmatic Play explained that landing three scatter symbols activates a bonus round with seven free spins, and each additional scatter that appears during the feature grants one extra spin. Throughout the bonus, win multipliers positioned above reels 2 to 4 begin at 2x and increase by +1x each time a winning mystery symbol lands, boosting the multiplier for that specific reel on subsequent spins. In certain markets, players can activate optional special bets that ensure mystery symbols appear on every spin and raise the minimum multiplier, or purchase direct entry into either Free Spins or Super Free Spins, the latter of which starts with multipliers set at 5x. Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, commented: “Mr Null’s Wicked Wares blends mystery symbols and multipliers within a visually striking and immersive theme, while the escalating multiplier meters maintain excitement throughout the feature. It’s a unique new title in our portfolio, and one we believe players will find highly engaging.” This article is provided by a third-party. New Zealand Strengthens Online Gambling Regulations as Licensing Race Kicks Off

(AsiaGameHub) -   New Zealand’s new regulatory framework for online gambling is now officially in effect. The Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 came into force starting 1 May 2026, and regulators have quickly moved into the implementation stage. Advertising is one of the first areas to see immediate changes. Unlicensed operators now face clear risks if they promote online casino services to users in New Zealand. While offshore operators faced restrictions previously, enforcement powers have now been significantly strengthened. The Department of Internal Affairs can order the removal of non-compliant ads and issue penalties of up to NZ$5 million. Regulators are taking a more proactive approach by exercising control prior to issuing licenses, due to the high volume of applications expected during the transition period. An operator’s current practices will have a direct impact on their licensing application, so operators face substantial uncertainty over their ability to compete for a license. Formal licensing will begin in July 2026 with the Expression of Interest (EOI) process. Contrary to what its name suggests, this is an established process that requires operators to submit additional details about every brand they wish to license through the government’s tender platform. Licenses will be issued via an auction (therefore there is no guarantee that any applicant will receive a license). During the bidding stage, operators will place bids at incremental levels as the bid amount rises, from the opening to the closing of the process. This system will most likely give larger, better-capitalized operators an edge, and is expected to squeeze smaller operators out of the bidding. If the auction is completed as planned in September, it will be a key event that determines the future structure of the market. After winning a bid successfully, operators will move on to submit full license applications in October. A key milestone is 1 December 2026, after which any operator without an active application will no longer be permitted to provide services. The entire licensing framework is expected to be fully functional in 2027, with all licenses issued and enforcement fully operational. This article is provided by a third-party.
